Ken Chenault, the chair and managing director of General Catalyst and former American Express CEO, now assumes the pivotal role of board chair at Bilt Rewards. Founded in 2022, Bilt Rewards has redefined the landscape by allowing renters to accrue points from their rent payments, exchangeable for travel, fitness classes, or a curated assortment of products. Furthermore, users can apply these rewards to future rent or a home down payment. The company also provides the option to report rent payments to major credit agencies, potentially enhancing users' credit profiles.

Looking ahead, Bilt Rewards envisions expanding its offerings beyond rent rewards to encompass mortgage payments.
