“I’m so sick of people thinking it’s ok to speak on my career and my child,” Halle wrote in the post. “Give us some space. I hope those who are worried about my life invest that energy in themselves as I correct every hurtful remark on my app. God will keep my family covered and safe.”

She didn’t specifically say who or what caused the message, but it’s obvious that Halle isn’t allowing negativity to harm her or her family. She keeps her attention on her career and her family life with DDG and their son in spite of the web rumours.

Halle Bailey’s Journey into Motherhood

Halo, the couple’s son, was born in January 2024, and Halle has been candid about her experiences as a mother, particularly the difficulties she had with postpartum depression. Earlier this year, Halle revealed on a frank Snapchat video how challenging it has been to adapt to her new physique and identity as a mother.

“I have severe, severe postpartum [depression], and I don’t know if any new moms can relate, but it’s to the point where it’s really bad, and it’s hard for me to be separated from my baby for more than 30 minutes at a time before I start to kind of freak out,” she said.
