Therefore, it is Haley’s view that right-wing chaos doesn’t pose an antidote to left-wing chaos. The former South Carolina governor stated the solution to the current madness facing America is a “new generational conservative leader.”
She didn’t stop there, though.
Haley also pointed out the pattern of losing that Republicans continue to face. In noting the GOP won only one out of eight past popular votes for White House elections, she warned that Republicans need to be able to secure the support of most Americans.
So far, Democrats consistently blow Republicans out of the water in this area. Though multiple polls have shown Haley leading Biden in a general election matchup, oftentimes by double digits.

So far, among candidates challenging the former president for the nomination, Haley and DeSantis are widely viewed as the strongest ones. The two Republicans have also started taking potshots at one another during debates and on the campaign trail.
DeSantis regularly goes after Haley for her record on different social issues that he views as too permissive to the left. Meanwhile, Haley claims DeSantis is only targeting her because he’s “losing” the race.
