The fifth season sees Harley and Ivy leaving Gotham City’s grim streets for Metropolis, where they encounter new challenges and quirky characters.

While Bruce Wayne (Diedrich Bader) remains an entertainingly whiny presence, and Superman (James Wolk) makes a few dim-witted appearances, the show shines brightest in its use of recurring characters like Bane (James Adomian), King Shark (Ron Funches), and Clayface (Alan Tudyk).

Though some plotlines, such as, King Shark’s familial drama, feel underwhelming, others, like Bane and Clayface’s roles in the climactic episodes, deliver satisfying payoffs.
