Inflation continues to haunt the White House in Biden’s America. Months ago, Republicans warned that the end result from all of President Biden’s spending packages and stimulus checks would be inflation; Biden didn’t listen, though.
Recent polling shows that the troubled economy has Biden struggling with support from Independent voters. Right now, less than half of America’s Independents favor the job that Biden is doing.
The president’s White House administration is working day and night to distract from inflation; however, inflation is a very real plight that Americans face everyday. That means there’s no hiding or distracting from it.
This week, New York’s Federal Reserve Bank confirmed that worries about inflation are grim and very much alive.
A closer look at consumers’ inflation worries
As it turns out, Americans across the board are anticipating higher inflation; however, older people worry more than their younger counterparts.
People below the age of 40 project that inflation will rise by 4% over the next year. Meanwhile, people between the ages of 40 and 59 anticipate a 4.5% increase of inflation. That leaves folks 59 years old and above with projections that inflation will jump by 5.9%.
