The Grateful Dead

The Grateful Dead, an American rock band formed in 1965 in Palo Alto, California, is renowned for its eclectic style, which fuses elements of rock, blues, jazz, folk, country, bluegrass, rock and roll, gospel, reggae, and world music with psychedelia.

The band’s lineup included Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh, and Bobby Weir. Their devoted fan base, known as Deadheads.

Deadheads,” played a crucial role in their success and legacy.

“The Grateful Dead has always been about community, creativity, and exploration in music and presentation. We’ve always felt that the music we make embodies and imparts something beyond the notes and phrases being played — and that is something we are privileged to share with all who are drawn to what we do — so it also must be said that our music belongs as much to our fans, the Deadheads, as it does to us. This honor, then, is as much theirs as ours,” the band said in a press release.

Bonnie Raitt

Bonnie Raitt, celebrated for her Americana music style, has been a significant figure in the music industry for decades. Since then, she has released 17 award-winning albums, her most recent one in 2022.
