Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna reported that approximately 37,000 residents are under evacuation orders, with another 20,000 under evacuation warnings.
About 15,000 structures remain at risk. Multiple homes have been engulfed in flames, and tragic reports have emerged of two fatalities linked to the Eaton Fire.

The wildfire’s impact extends far beyond Pacific Palisades. The Eaton Fire in Altadena has burned over 10,600 acres, devastating homes, schools, and businesses.
Additionally, the Hurst Fire in the San Fernando Valley has scorched 500 acres, prompting further evacuations.
Many parts of Los Angeles and Ventura counties remain under a “Particularly Dangerous Situation” red flag warning due to extreme wind conditions, with gusts reaching up to 100 mph in some areas.
