Marjorie Taylor Greene: Resignation Shakes Washington

“I’m going back to the people I love, to live life to the fullest as I always have,” Greene posted on X. “I will be resigning from office… Jan. 5, 2026.”

Greene’s exit comes during an intensifying rift with Trump, who once championed her as a MAGA loyalist. The relationship deteriorated primarily over Greene’s high-profile effort to force the release of Justice Department files on Jeffrey Epstein, a measure Trump strongly opposed.
