The historic event featured tributes and performances by metal icons, including Metallica, Anthrax, Pantera, Slayer, Alice in Chains, and a supergroup with members of Guns N’ Roses, Smashing Pumpkins, Limp Bizkit, and more.
In a tribute fitting for a legend, Mercury Studios is releasing a 100-minute concert film titled Back to the Beginning: Ozzy’s Final Bow, set to premiere in theaters in early 2026 before heading to streaming platforms.
‘No Escape From Now’: Ozzy’s Final Years
A deeply personal feature-length documentary, Ozzy Osbourne: No Escape From Now, will debut on Paramount+ later this year. The film captures Osbourne’s six-year battle to recover from a 2019 fall and reflects on the toll Parkinson’s took on his life.
“The last six years have been full of some of the worst times I’ve been through,” Osbourne said. “There’s been times when I thought my number was up. But making music and making two albums saved me. I’d have gone nuts without music.”
The documentary features appearances from Sharon Osbourne, their children, and music legends like Tony Iommi, Duff McKagan, Billy Idol, Chad Smith, and Zakk Wylde.
