A new wave of artificial intelligence collaborations is taking shape as Palantir Technologies revealed a major Palantir and Nvidia partnership during its ninth annual AI conference, signaling deeper ties between powerful software platforms and cutting-edge chip technology.

The announcement came Thursday during Palantir’s flagship AI event, where the company also unveiled partnerships spanning defense, aerospace, energy and technology sectors. Despite broader market pressure tied to geopolitical tensions involving the United States and Iran, Palantir’s stock edged higher following the news.

AIPCon 9 Showcases Expanding AI Ecosystem

The company revealed the Palantir and Nvidia partnership at AIPCon 9, its annual conference spotlighting real-world artificial intelligence applications through customer deployments and industry collaborations.

Palantir originally launched its Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) in early 2023, positioning the system as a central hub for enterprises and governments seeking to harness advanced data analytics and generative AI.

At this year’s conference, Palantir introduced a new initiative aimed at governments developing sovereign AI infrastructure. The collaboration with Nvidia centers on what the companies call a “sovereign AI OS reference architecture.”

The framework merges Palantir’s software stack with Nvidia’s previously introduced enterprise AI reference models, creating a blueprint for nations building secure AI-powered data centers.

Partnerships Expand Across Key Industries

Beyond the Palantir and Nvidia partnership, the company announced additional collaborations with several organizations operating across strategic sectors.

These include:

• Centrus Energy, which operates in the uranium enrichment industry

• GE Aerospace, partnering with Palantir on a multiyear initiative for the United States Air Force

• Ondas Holdings, specializing in autonomous aerial and ground robotics intelligence

• LG Group, expanding the global reach of AI collaboration

The conference also highlighted participation from organizations such as the United States Department of the Navy, SAP, Accenture, and World View Enterprises, which develops high-altitude balloon intelligence systems.

AI Supply Chain Questions Surface

During an interview with CNBC, Palantir CEO Alex Karp confirmed the company continues to rely on AI models developed by Anthropic.

The revelation comes as the United States Department of Defense has designated Anthropic a potential supply-chain risk amid a dispute over the military use of its artificial intelligence models.

The issue highlights growing tensions around AI development in national security contexts, where technology partnerships increasingly intersect with geopolitical considerations.
