“In today’s era, enterprises grapple with an intensifying conundrum. They must fulfill their DEI promises amidst a barrage of legal threats from activists, shareholders, and other stakeholders,” commented Brad S. Karp, firm chairman. He added, “Being stalwarts in promoting diversity and championing clients in their direst litigation and probes, we’re uniquely poised to shepherd clients across this intricate landscape.”

The Advisory’s mandate? Its attorneys, akin to seasoned navigators, will collaborate with clients, pinpoint potential legal pitfalls, offer counsel to bolster DEI measures, reducing legal hazards, and shield them against reverse discrimination onslaughts and other legal challenges.

Leading the charge for this new Paul Weiss brigade are notable figures: Karp; Loretta E. Lynch, a previous U.S. Attorney General; Jeh C. Johnson, ex-Secretary of Homeland Security; Jeannie S. Rhee, former federal prosecutor; and a phalanx of litigation experts including Audra J. Soloway, Liza M. Velazquez, and Lissette Duran. David Curran, co-chair of the sustainability and ESG advisory practice, also joins the ranks.
