Signs invasion not going well
Ukrainians are facing overwhelming odds with thousands of Russian soldiers invading the country. The much smaller Ukraine military is outgunned. But Ukraine has been able to strategically damage and stall the invasion. There have been confirmed reports of Russia firing on unarmed civilians and bombing hospitals and schools. “The enemy had about 8 generals removed from their posts because they did not complete the task. New ones have been appointed,” Danilov said Friday. “We clearly understand what is happening in the Russian Federation,” he added. “What’s more, I can tell they’re desperate.” “He is in a state of being offended and insulted,” said the source, described as a “good acquaintance” of the Russian leader. “It’s a paranoia that has reached the point of absurdity.”Russian generals die in Ukraine
In the last week, 3 Russian generals have died. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is continuing to take a heavy toll up-and-down the ranks. Maj. Gen. Andrei Kolesnikov of the 29th Combined Arms Army was the latest high-ranking Russian death reported by Ukraine’s military Twitter account. It was subsequently confirmed to several media outlets by unnamed Western officials. Major General Vitaly Gerasimov, chief of staff of the 41st Army, was killed outside Kharkiv. And Major General Andrey Sukhovetsky, commanding general of the Russian 7th Airborne division was reportedly picked off by a Ukrainian sniper last week. Kolesnikov is the 3rd Russian general killed in 14 days of a deadly war.Invasion continues
