The dialogue between Schneider Electric and Bentley Systems, reported to be in the nascent stages, centers around a potential acquisition. With Bentley Systems boasting a market valuation of approximately $15.6 billion, the stakes are notably high. Schneider Electric, in a disclosure to the Euronext Paris stock exchange, stated, “Discussions remain at a preliminary stage regarding a potential transaction, and there is no certainty that any transaction will be agreed upon.”
