Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP has bolstered its energy group by welcoming two seasoned partners from Barnes & Thornburg LLP. Teresa Morton Nyhart and Jeffrey Peabody joined Taft’s Indianapolis office as partners in the energy group on June 10, according to a firm spokesperson.
“We are thrilled to welcome Terry and Jeff to Taft,” Elizabeth Brama, chair of Taft’s energy practice group, said in a statement. “They are excellent, well-established lawyers who will complement and enhance our extensive capabilities to serve the energy and utility sectors in the Midwest and beyond.”
Nyhart and Peabody, both veterans of Barnes & Thornburg, were drawn to Taft’s expansive energy group and its resources in regulatory areas like renewable energy transactions, environmental compliance, and litigation.
