Jason Kerr, head of the firm’s global project development and finance practice, welcomed Berg, noting his significant contributions to innovative projects in the energy sector. Jay Cuclis, co-head of the firm’s energy industry group and executive partner of the Houston office, also remarked on the strategic growth of their construction practice in North America. He stressed the importance of Berg’s expertise in large-scale projects, which is crucial for advancing the firm’s leadership in renewable energy investments and supporting traditional energy projects.

Berg’s impressive career trajectory includes a seven-year stint at King & Spalding, where he rose from associate to partner. He is a graduate of Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and also holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
