Nevertheless, on said calls in late January, Tate presses associates of his to make contact with Diana Iovanovici-Sosoaca and George Simion. Both of these individuals are right-of-center politicians in Romania.
Tate wants Iovanovici-Sosoaca and Simion to support him. He made this clear upon telling his associate to let these politicians know their careers would reap rewards from backing him.
It doesn’t appear as though either of these right-wing politicians wants anything to do with Tate, however.
Iovanovici-Sosoaca, for instance, has gone on record claiming anything said on these calls are lies. Meanwhile, Simion made it clear he received no contact from Tate and wouldn’t offer his support to Tate even if the latter did reach out.
There’s more, though.
Going after his accusers from behind bars
Not only did Tate seek the support of the aforementioned politicians, per the transcripts from the wiretapped calls, but he also sought to discredit the women accusing him of rape and human trafficking.
