2025 Grammy Nominations: Beyoncé Leads with 11 Nods

Pop singers Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan face tough competition for Best New Artist. Benson Boone, Shaboozey, and multi-genre talent Teddy Swims are also in the running for the award. And in Best Pop Solo Performance, nominees include Beyoncé yet again, Carpenter, Charli XCX, Eilish, and Roan.

The Best Country Album category features Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter alongside F-1, Deeper Well, Higher, and Whirlwind. Beyonce’s  “16 Carriages” also received a nomination for Best Country Solo Performance, competing with Chris Stapleton, Jelly Roll, Kacey Musgraves, and Shaboozey.

Song of the Year: The Beatles Make a Surprise Entry

In a shocking twist, the Beatles earned a Song of the Year nomination for “Now and Then.” This track, originally recorded in 1973, was produced in 2023 using AI to simulate John Lennon’s voice.

The Grammy nominees were revealed in a live video stream hosted on the Recording Academy’s YouTube and official Grammy website at 8 a.m. PT/11 a.m. ET. Only recordings commercially released in the U.S. between September 16, 2023, and August 30, 2024, were eligible for this year’s Grammy nominations.
