Boston Dynamics Expands AI and Logistics Partnerships with NVIDIA and DHL

This year Massachusetts-based Boston Dynamics is advancing the frontiers of robotics, thanks to key partnerships and cutting-edge developments in artificial intelligence.

The company, long renowned for its agile and intelligent robots, has recently announced a deeper collaboration with NVIDIA and DHL, accelerating its momentum in the rapidly evolving robotics and automation space.

“Together, we’re setting new standards for the logistics industry,” said Sally Miller, Global CIO of DHL Supply Chain.

NVIDIA and GR00T: AI at the Core

In March 2025, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang spotlighted Boston Dynamics’ work during his GTC keynote, introducing the company’s GR00T model.

Built on NVIDIA’s Jetson Thor platform, GR00T is engineered to run “complex, multimodal AI models” that integrate seamlessly with Boston Dynamics’ whole-body and manipulation controllers.

Boston Dynamics AI-Powered Atlas 

This AI-powered system enables robots to learn and respond with increasing sophistication—applying reinforcement learning techniques drawn from animation and motion capture.

In its latest video, the Atlas robot performs fluid full-body movements, from walking to cartwheels and breakdancing, showcasing just how advanced robotic motion has become.
