Under Oath and On the Record: Bajrami Group’s Own Discovery Responses Read Like a Wire Fraud Road Map

SAN ANTONIO, July 21, 2026 — For months, the federal fraud lawsuit against Bajrami Group, Inc. has turned on a single question: what really happened to the $450,000 that Texas investor Daniel Austin wired to the Delaware company controlled by internet "sales guru" Bruno Bajrami? Now, in sworn discovery responses served July 20, 2026 — verified under penalty of perjury by Bajrami himself — the company has answered. And the answer may be more damaging than the silence ever was.

Because when the objections and lawyer-crafted qualifications are stripped away, what remains is a set of admissions that tracks, almost element by element, the federal wire fraud statute, 18 U.S.C. § 1343 — the same statute legal observers have flagged since USA Herald confirmed that the FBI has opened an investigation into Bajrami and his company.

The Anatomy of a Wire Fraud Case

To convict under § 1343, federal prosecutors must prove three things: a scheme to defraud, the use of interstate or foreign wire communications in furtherance of that scheme, and intent to defraud. Each count — each wire — carries up to 20 years in federal prison.

With the discovery responses now in the record, consider how much of that burden Bajrami Group has already carried for the government.

Element One: The Wires. Admitted.

There is no longer any dispute that interstate and foreign wires moved this money. In its Responses to Requests for Admissions, Bajrami Group admits that Austin wired $50,000 on June 28, 2024, $100,000 on July 1, 2024, and $300,000 on July 9, 2024 into the company's account at Community Federal Savings Bank via Wise — and admits it received the full $450,000. It further admits it transferred at least $400,000 of those funds out of the account. Its own document production includes Wise SWIFT transfer confirmations sending roughly €220,000 from the company's U.S. account to two Albanian entities — TITANIKU 2020 SHPK and XHEMO-AG SHPK — in July 2024, within days of Austin's deposits.

The interstate and foreign wire element of § 1343 is, on the defendant's own sworn paper, established several times over.

Element Two: The Scheme. The Story Keeps Moving — Under Oath.

A "scheme to defraud" is typically proven through material misrepresentations and shifting narratives. Here, the company's sworn interrogatory answers now confirm the very pattern the complaint alleged.

Austin's complaint attached an Investment Agreement describing a $450,000 investment in "a real estate project located in Tirana, Albania." Under oath, Bajrami Group now swears that no portion of the funds was ever used for any real estate project anywhere — and denies that the agreement attached to the complaint is even genuine, while simultaneously admitting the accuracy of every quoted clause. Instead, the company now says the money was for a "Kazak Russian Oil deal," which failed because the supplier was "allegedly fraudulent," after which the story pivoted to a Philip Morris-branded tobacco venture in Kosovo, after which — per the sworn answers — the entire $450,000 was converted to physical cash and hand-delivered, in approximately five meetings in Tirana, to a single individual: Dugagjin Emarllahu, known in the messages as "Duka."

Real estate. Then oil. Then tobacco. Then cash to a man in Albania. That is not a paraphrase of the plaintiff's theory — that is the defendant's own verified account, in sequence.

And the paper trail supporting it? The company admits it possesses "no purchase order, invoice, contract, bill of lading, shipping document, customs record, or inspection report" evidencing any oil transaction funded by Austin's money. It admits it never provided Austin a single deed, title document, purchase contract, closing statement, or escrow record. It admits no receipts or logs exist for the cash hand-offs. Its produced Wise records account for only about half the funds; the rest, by its own telling, vanished into untraceable cash.

The Texts Bajrami Now Owns

Perhaps most consequentially, Bajrami Group has now admitted, under oath, that Bruno Bajrami sent the three text messages at the heart of the complaint:

"I allocated them into what I believed was a stronger opportunity, and I added a huge portion of my own capital (750) into it too because I truly believed it would benefit both of us."
"I would've sent it back already without thinking twice but I'm not liquid right now because I got over $4M in investments."
"If you want to make the process faster and get 3M give me the 170 as a loan haha."

The company's only qualification is that the texts are "taken out of context." But the sworn interrogatory answers then quietly detonate the second message: the "$4 million in investments," the company now concedes, referred to "family-owned assets, including real property and investments owned by Defendant's parents, rather than liquid assets owned personally by Defendant." In other words, by the defense's own account, the statement Bajrami used to reassure an investor demanding his money back described assets that were never his.

Prosecutors call that kind of admission a gift: a materially misleading statement, made by wire, to a victim seeking return of his funds — authenticated by the sender himself. And the third text — soliciting another $170,000 as a "loan" from an investor whose $450,000 had already disappeared — is precisely the kind of continued solicitation that transforms a failed deal into a chargeable scheme in the government's eyes.

The produced WhatsApp transcript, 1,436 messages spanning May 2024 to March 2026, supplies the surrounding architecture: promised "2.5x" returns, claims that Bajrami was personally investing $600,000–$700,000 of his own money, assurances that Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner would pour "$300M minimum" into Albania, and — when repayment came due — an unnamed "main investor" said to be undergoing chemotherapy. Over two years, approximately $1,528 of the $450,000 has been returned. That is one-third of one percent.

Element Three: Intent — The Last Element Standing

To be clear: Bajrami Group denies everything that matters legally. It denies making any knowingly false statement. It swears Bajrami "believed the investment was legitimate" and that the company was itself deceived by Emarllahu, whom it now blames "in whole or in substantial part" for Austin's losses. No criminal charges have been filed against Bruno Bajrami or Bajrami Group, Inc., the existence of an FBI investigation is not an accusation of guilt, and in any criminal proceeding the government would bear the burden of proving fraudulent intent beyond a reasonable doubt.

But intent is nearly always proven circumstantially — through shifting explanations, missing documentation, misrepresentations about one's own finances, and continued solicitation of funds. Every one of those circumstantial pillars now stands in the record, planted there not by Austin's lawyers, but by the defendant's own verified responses. The sworn account even contradicts itself: asked to admit that no funds were used to acquire title to Tirana real property, the company denied it — implying the money did buy Tirana real estate — while swearing two documents earlier that no funds were invested in any real estate anywhere. Both cannot be true, and both were signed under the same perjury declaration.

Why This Matters Federally

Civil discovery has a way of becoming criminal evidence. Sworn interrogatory answers and admissions are party statements, generally admissible against the company — and Bajrami personally verified them, executing his declaration in Tirana, Albania on July 15, 2026. If federal prosecutors ever charge this case, they will not need to reconstruct the money trail from scratch. The defendant has already sworn to it: U.S. wires in, foreign wires out, cash withdrawals, hand-deliveries to a man whose address, phone number, and accounts the company says it cannot presently identify — despite having entrusted him, in cash, with nearly half a million dollars of someone else's money.

The defense that remains is a narrow one: that Bruno Bajrami was not the architect of a fraud but its most spectacularly careless victim. A Texas jury — or, one day, a federal one — will decide whether that story survives contact with his own words.

The allegations in Austin v. Bajrami Group, Inc., No. 5:25-CV-1929 (W.D. Tex.), remain allegations. Bajrami Group, Inc. has denied liability, no indictment has been announced, and all parties are presumed innocent unless and until proven otherwise in a court of law.
