The Beach family’s legal counsel, Tabor Vaux, has confirmed to Fox News Digital a $15 million settlement with Parker’s in the wrongful death lawsuit. This agreement also extends to additional boat occupants who had their claims settled against Parker’s, including Conor Cook, Anthony Cook, Miley Altman, and Morgan Dowdy.

Lawyer Mark Tinsley, also representing the Beach family, stressed that the settlement goes beyond monetary considerations. He stated, “The Beach family didn’t want this settlement confidential because they want other ‘Greg Parker’s’ to know, that if you sell alcohol illegally, you will be held accountable.”

In the wake of the settlement, the wrongful death lawsuit trial slated for August 14 has been annulled. Earlier this year, the Beach family reached another settlement with Buster Murdaugh and the estate of Alex Murdaugh’s late wife, Maggie Murdaugh. Following a dramatic trial, Alex Murdaugh was found guilty of murdering his wife, Maggie, and son, Paul, and sentenced to life in prison in June 2021.
