In a power move straight from the Wall Street playbook, Blackstone Europe LLP has tabled an electrifying $633 million all-cash bid to seize control of Warehouse Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), a British logistics property powerhouse.

This latest proposal, valued at £489 million, raises the stakes in a heated acquisition chase that has seen multiple bids rejected. The bid represents a 4.1% increase from Blackstone’s previous offer and boasts a 40% premium over Warehouse REIT’s stock price before negotiations unraveled.

A Takeover Battle Intensifies

Blackstone, a global private equity juggernaut, has signaled that this offer is its “final indicative proposal,” promising shareholders a “highly deliverable and compelling alternative.”

Warehouse REIT, which trades on the London Stock Exchange, responded with measured caution, confirming that it is reviewing the latest bid but stopping short of committing to a decision.

“A further announcement will be made as and when appropriate,” the company stated, leaving investors on edge.
