Sudden Death on the Devils on the Run Tour

Rivera had just hosted a sold-out show on the Devils on the Run Tour, showcasing the Annabelle doll, when he was found unresponsive.

Adams County Chief Deputy Coroner Scott Pennewill told Today that Rivera’s death was not suspicious, and Annabelle was not in the hotel room at the time. An official cause of death is pending and may take up to 90 days for results.

“His death was nothing suspicious,” Pennewill said. “The coroner’s office and the state police were called to the scene on Sunday night.”

Rivera was a U.S. Army veteran and NESPR’s lead investigator.

His passion for the paranormal made him a beloved figure in supernatural circles. He had thousands of social media followers and credits on programs such as Most Haunted Places and 28 Days Haunted on Netflix.
