As the winter season comes to a close, Americans prepare to set their clocks to Spring forward for Daylight-Saving Time 2024. This marks the official beginning of longer daylight hours and the eagerly awaited arrival of spring. 

The annual time adjustment, also known as “springing forward,” will take place at 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2024, symbolizing a shift towards brighter evenings and warmer days.

With Daylight-Saving Time in effect, residents can anticipate sunset occurring an hour later, bringing extended daylight, well into the evening hours.

This adjustment also creates a later sunrise, resulting in slightly darker mornings.

Daylight-Saving Time is observed from the second Sunday in March until the first Sunday in November, aligning with the transition to spring and extending through the summer months. Spring officially commences on March 19 at 11:06 p.m., coinciding closely with the commencement of Daylight-Saving Time.
