The working theory is that Jimmy Hoffa’s remains are concealed beneath what used to be the third-base line of the now-demolished stadium.

Jimmy Hoffa, an iconic labor union leader, vanished without a trace in 1975, supposedly on his way to a rendezvous with mob boss Anthony “Tony Jack” Giacalone and New Jersey Teamsters local union boss “Tony Pro” Provenzano. Officially declared dead in 1982, Hoffa’s disappearance has become the stuff of legend and folklore, with countless theories and speculation surrounding his fate and the whereabouts of his body.

The Case Breakers did not rely solely on the mysterious playing card for their investigation. They conducted a thorough examination of old aerial photographs and GPS satellite images and made several visits to the site in question.

 To further bolster their case, ground-penetrating radar was deployed over the area on multiple occasions. Although the radar was unable to penetrate beyond a depth of five feet due to an unforeseen clay layer, the group believes that this outcome lends weight to their theory that a hasty excavation and backfilling operation may have occurred at this location.
