Reports from The Hill state that NBC news anchor Megyn Kelly greatly disapproved of President Trump's decision to critique Al Franken.

Firstly, Al Franken is facing accusations of inappropriate sexual contact from multiple women. Unlike others facing accusations, there is existing, concrete evidence against Franken. He groped a sleeping Leeann Tweeden's breasts in a photo and flagrantly joked about raping Lesley Stahl.

As a result of the aforementioned malpractices, President Trump tweeted out the following comments about Franken on Thursday:

Apparently, these tweets offended Kelly who made the following remarks on Friday during her NBC show:

"Who that [was] accused of sexual assault would have the gall to preach to others about sexual misconduct? How infuriating that would be. How tone deaf, Mr. President."

Towards the end of the 2016 Presidential election, approximately eleven women accused Mr. Trump of sexual assault. However, there was no evidence to support the aforementioned accusations. Furthermore, the President denied all claims against him.

Kelly and Trump are no strangers to quarrels with one another. During the first Presidential debate, Kelly pressed Trump about prior, controversial comments about women. However, the President didn't like it and responded by noting that her inquires had nothing to do with the election. Following this came a feud between Trump and Kelly which lasted for a series of months.

America's Response to Kelly's Criticism

As usual with political affairs, the American people did not hesitate to weigh in and share their opinions. Many Republicans and supporters of President Trump affirmed that unproven accusations should not prohibit the President from criticizing Franken, especially in light of the unadultered evidence against the latter. Those who dislike President Trump supported Kelly's disapproval, stating that those in glass houses ought not to throw stones.

Al Franken has yet to respond to President Trump's remarks.
