Within the past several weeks, a growing number of Americans have stated that neither President Biden nor former President Trump is fit to lead this nation. People with this view are taking to social media, weighing in with their concerns.
In spite of this, Biden and Trump are who Republicans and Democrats backed during the primaries. Both contenders faced in-party challengers; yet none of the Republicans who opposed Trump, nor the Democrats who opposed Biden, came close to getting enough votes to secure the nomination(s).
This happened notwithstanding polls at the time that showed as many as 70% of Americans didn’t want this year’s presidential election to be a rematch of 2020’s.
On Thursday, a new survey came out, with this one reflecting America’s collective discontent with the GOP’s and Democratic Party’s de facto nominees.
