Former UN ambassador and 2024 presidential candidate Nikki Haley is now responding to Trump’s latest remarks about Alexei Navalny.
Haley warns Trump can’t handle Putin
Earlier today, the 2024 hopeful spoke to Fox & Friends about her views on Rusia and where they differ from Trump’s. To this end, Haley warned the former president is “weak in the knees” and unable to call out Putin for having Navalny executed.
After declaring the Russian president has a proven track record of murdering his political challengers, Haley also told Fox & Friends that Trump is directing more attention to his court cases than to US national security.
Donald Trump could have condemned Vladimir Putin for being a murderous thug.
Trump could have praised Navalny’s courage.
Instead, he stole a page from liberals’ playbook, denouncing America and comparing our country to Russia. pic.twitter.com/CxAOGwIQEN

The former UN ambassador then called out Russia’s government for zeroing in on the Baltics. Seeing as all three countries here are part of the North Atlantic Alliance, Putin would essentially be drawing the United States into a war if he invaded Latvia, Lithuania, or Estonia.
While citing the need to steer clear of wars, Haley underscored the relevance of “protecting Americans,” warning this can’t happen if Trump’s “personal grievances” are front and center.
