Naturally, Americans have wondered what Kellyanne Conway thinks about the public spat between her husband and her boss. During a sitdown with Politico, the counselor to the president stated that Trump reserves the right to defend himself when his mental health is brought into question.
In her own words:
“He left it alone for months out of respect for me. But you think he shouldn’t respond when somebody, a non-medical professional accuses him of having a mental disorder? You think he should just take that sitting down?”
Conway furthermore noted that her husband is not a “psychiatrist.”
