Andrei reportedly called an ambulance immediately, but Baikova was ultimately declared dead at the scene from her injuries.

According to Moscow police Baikova’s demise is being investigated.

Russian Sudden Death Syndrome

Baikova is the latest Russian of a bizarre accident that resulted in her plummeting off a building. Others have died from unexplained and sudden illnesses, murder-suicides, and other mysterious circumstances. 

Members of Moscows’ ruling class and the Oligarch community are at high-risk since Vladimir Putin launched his invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

The trend has become unofficially known as ‘Russian Sudden Death Syndrome.

The deaths should not be confused with several missing high-level military officials including last week’s disappearance of General Surovikin. Whether the missing military officers are alive or dead cannot be confirmed.

Alexander Kolodich, 58, was found dead and buried under his home in Russia’s capital earlier this month.
