Saturday Night Live (SNL), a show widely regarded as classless and tacky by many American, recently targeted former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer upon learning of his resignation. However, according to The Hill, Spicer responded to their vicious attacks during a Friday night interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity. Spicer gave the following remarks:

"I think that there were some parts of it that were funny, but there’s a lot of it that was over the line. It wasn’t funny. It was stupid, or silly, or malicious."

D-list actress Melissa McCarthy parodied Spicer and made fun of the manner in which he speaks. Many people who perform on Saturday Night Live fail to grasp the fine line between comedy and classlessness. Mocking a person's speech habits is not funny, it's unprofessional and disgraceful. If President Trump made fun of the way news anchor pronounced their words, the mainstream media would absolutely lose their minds.

McCarthy has imitated Spicer on several occasions. She began in February and has been featured on Saturday Night Live in quite a few episodes. Of course, her liberal allies and viewers applauded her mediocre performance, but they fail to realize a critical truth. Whenever one's career entails mocking or imitating someone else, they are losing by default. Anyone can poke fun at someone else and mock their mannerisms, but not everyone can achieve the feats of those who are mocked.

"Sometimes it can be funny. But sometimes it goes from funny to mean," Spicer added.

However, Melissa McCarthy is not the only one who has chosen to attack the former White House Press Secretary. NBC News recently posted an article in which they accuse Spicer of "hostile interactions with reporters," "gaffes," and having an "ugly tone." Liberal shows like Saturday Night Live and mainstream media outlets continue to make their vendettas against the President and members of his administration as clear as day.

Regardless of personal feelings regarding Sean Spicer, his remarks about the content of Saturday Night Live were absolutely accurate. They have crossed the line on a plethora of occasions and gone from comedic to classless. Unfortunately, the writers at SNL do not seem to care. After all, liberals have deemed it acceptable for a public TV outlet to mock the President, the First Lady, and other members of the White House administration, but if President Trump tweets out about a news reporters' botched face lift, Democrats' heads implode. Saturday Night Live's inability to distinguish comedy from malice is very disappointing.
