The Americans for Tax Reform recognized him as “Hero of the Taxpayers” and “Guardian of Small Business” by National Federation of Independent Business. He also received the “Tax Fighter” award from the National Tax Limitation Committee.
Currently, Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom is holding a strong lead in the polls. His fellow Democrat former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Republican John Cox are closely battling for the second place.
