President Donald Trump has stated emphatically that he believes he will not be leaving the White House in January.

The president was speaking on Tuesday at the  Operation Warp Speed Vaccine Summit when he said the next administration would be his.

“'The next administration will be the Trump administration,” he said. “You can't steal hundreds of thousands of votes, you can't have fraud and deception and slightly win a swing state.”

President Trump that he was hopeful that the Supreme Court or state legislatures would have the “courage” to change the reported results of the election.

“Let's see whether or not somebody has the courage - whether it's legislatures or a justice of the Supreme Court or a number of justices of the Supreme Court. Let's see if they have the courage to do what everybody in this country knows is right,” he said.

The president’s comments came on the same day that the Supreme Court rejected a bid by Rep. Mike Kelly to provide an emergency injunction to stop the Pennsylvania state legislature from certifying the electors that are going to be sent to vote in the Electoral College.

“If somebody has the courage, I know who the next administration will be. I will tell you what: Life will be much easier for this country,” he said.

The president then went into praising his team for their work on Operation Warp Speed which found a vaccine for the coronavirus pandemic at record-breaking speed.

“The job you have done on the vaccine together with a lot of others has been a modern-day miracle. It's been acknowledged as such. I want to thank you and give you my love and give you my thanks. You are very special people. Now good luck,” the president said before he left the room.

Tuesday was the “safe harbor” date. That is the date by which federal law requires states to resolve all election-related disputes before the Electoral College votes.

The Electoral college votes six days after the “safe harbor” date, December 14. But, technically, the electoral college results are not official until they are certified by a joint session of the House and Senate.

“It is not unprecedented for an election to last beyond December 8,” the president’s attorneys, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis said. “The only fixed day in the U.S. Constitution is the inauguration of the president on January 20th at noon.”
