Fieldfisher To Merge With Regan Wall

In a strategic move that underscores its accelerating European growth, Fieldfisher LLP announced Wednesday that it will merge with Irish boutique law firm Regan Wall LLP, a merger set to supercharge its corporate law capabilities in Ireland. The deal, effective November 25, will add 16 staff members—including seven lawyers—from Regan Wall’s Cork headquarters, giving Fieldfisher a second Irish base alongside its Dublin office.

Partners Adrian Wall and Kieran Regan, who lead the Regan Wall team, will join Fieldfisher as part of the merger, marking a new chapter for both firms in Ireland’s increasingly competitive corporate legal landscape.

Doubling Strength and Deepening Expertise

Following the merger, Fieldfisher’s Irish headcount will rise to 140 professionals, including 18 partners, effectively doubling its corporate law capacity and expanding its expertise in mergers and acquisitions. The firm projects that this expansion will boost its Irish revenue by more than 20%, reflecting both strategic ambition and growing client demand.

The integration also gives Regan Wall’s clients access to Fieldfisher’s vast international network, spanning Europe and beyond—a move that promises broader opportunities and a stronger global platform.

“This merger represents a landmark moment for clients of both Regan Wall and Fieldfisher, and for our business in Ireland,” said J.P. McDowell, Managing Partner of Fieldfisher Ireland. “By combining Regan Wall’s outstanding domestic M&A expertise with our international reach, we’re creating a uniquely powerful corporate offering.”
