The controversy surrounding Andrew Tate has deepened as the self-proclaimed misogynist influencer launches a $50 million counter-suit against his former girlfriend, Brianna Stern.

Stern accused Tate of sexual assault and battery earlier this year, but Tate’s lawyer now claims she is orchestrating a financially ruinous smear campaign that has caused “irreversible damage to his global reputation.”

Stern’s Allegations Against Tate

Brianna Stern, a 29-year-old model and social media influencer, filed a police complaint and civil lawsuit in Los Angeles in March. She alleges that after Tate recorded an interview with rapper Kanye West on March 10, what began as consensual intimacy at a Beverly Hills hotel turned violent.

According to her lawsuit, Tate verbally degraded her and then physically assaulted her. She claims he choked her while shouting disturbing phrases such as, “I beat you because I love you” and “you’re mine, why wouldn’t I be able to hit you?”

Stern, who has appeared in Maxim and FHM, became the first of Tate’s alleged victims to waive her anonymity. She later told The Times that she has endured harassment and abuse from Tate’s online supporters since speaking out: “Some people in my life are so scared of him that they just don’t want anything to do with me now, which is really upsetting.”

Tate’s Response and Counterclaims

Tate’s lawyer, Joseph McBride, strongly refuted Stern’s claims, calling them fabricated and malicious. “This isn’t a ‘he said, she said’ situation,” McBride stated. “It’s a ‘she lied and we can prove it’ situation.”
