Since the arrest of Andrew Tate in late December 2022, increasingly disturbing details have come out about him.

He was apprehended alongside two women known to him and his brother, Tristan, on charges of rape, human trafficking, and organized crime. However, more details keep coming to light.

For starters, Tate stands accused of conspiring with the women arrested with him for human trafficking.

Georgiana Naghel and Luana Radu are the female pair also apprehended in late December. They remain charged with working as “enforcers,” along with beating and torturing trafficked women if they stepped out of the boundaries set by Tate and his brother.

Since Tate’s arrest, he’s lost two appeals to get out of Romanian detention and keep law enforcement from impounding his assets.

Officials recently moved to seize Tate’s overseas assets, rather than merely the ones he has in Romania. Though reports now indicate that some of the assets impounded include hundreds of thousands of dollars in Bitcoin.

What to know about the Bitcoin seizures

According to a Tate spokesperson, Romanian authorities put a freeze on $500,000 in Bitcoin owned by the Tate brothers.
