The Court of Appeal ruled that allowing three sets of expert evidence would increase disputes “threefold” and potentially undermine the court’s ability to manage the case efficiently. Justice Birss noted that single joint experts are common in county court cases, even when claimants and defendants have clear conflicts of interest.
