The Kraken was unleashed in Georgia and it has shaken the 2020 presidential election to its core.

And now Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, who has been the subject of furious tweets from President Donald Trump, has called for a signature audit of ballots.

“I called early on for a signature audit,” the governor said on Fox News. “Obviously, the Secretary of State, per the laws and the Constitution, would have to order that. He has not done that. I think it should be done.

“I think, especially with what we saw today it raises more questions. There needs to be transparency on that. I would again call for that and I think in the next 24 hours, hopefully, we’ll see a lot more from the hearings that the legislature had today and we’ll be able to look and see what the next steps are,” he said.

The governor’s statement came hours after the Georgia State Senate held two hearings on the election which allowed the president’s attorneys to show evidence of alleged improprieties with the election.

That is when a CCTV video purportedly showed suitcases of ballots being pulled out from under a table in Fulton County after the room was cleared, and they were counted in secret.

“Video footage from Georgia shows suitcases filled with ballots pulled from under a table AFTER supervisors told poll workers to leave room and 4 people stayed behind to keep counting votes,” Team Trump said on Twitter with a clip of the video.

“I’m going to try to build this statement based on a consensus of what I’m hearing from the people that I represent: We have totally lost confidence in our election system this year,” Senate Republican Whip Steve Gooch said during the hearing as quoted by The Atlanta Journal Constitution (AJC). “I’m here on behalf of those citizens. I have a duty to let you know that this issue isn’t going to go away unless we make some changes.”

But at the second hearing of the day, the attorneys for President Trump said that they intended to file a lawsuit in Fulton County to change the election results.

The attorneys said they had evidence “that tens of thousands of ineligible voters cast ballots in the election. And they called on the General Assembly to send a slate of electors to Washington who would elect Trump as president,” The AJC said.
