Unlike many Hollywood splits, Brittany Renner has taken a philosophical approach. In a revealing interview with REAL 92.3 LA, Renner made it clear that her brief marriage was not a mistake nor a cause for bitterness:
“I don’t feel like it was a sucky situation because what is meant to be is always going to be. I followed my heart, and that’s what more than most people can say.”
Renner also credited her growing Islamic faith as a guiding force during this chapter, saying, “Islam has made my life better in every single category. … Miracles happen once in a while, every day. It’s been really beautiful. It’s changed my life. It’s for the better.”
Kevin Gates has remained silent on the matter. Sources close to Gates have not commented, and his representatives have not responded to media requests.
