Surprisingly, Allman’s attorney has recently filed a request to dismiss the divorce case without prejudice, indicating a potential reconciliation between the couple. King’s attorney has reportedly consented to the dismissal.
Cher’s Conservatorship Petition
The decision to end the divorce proceedings comes on the heels of Cher’s filing for conservatorship of Elijah’s estate. Cher, a Grammy-winning singer, alleges that her son’s mental health and substance abuse issues make him incapable of managing his financial assets.
She expresses concerns that any funds distributed to Elijah could be used for drugs, endangering his life. A hearing for a temporary order regarding Cher’s conservatorship petition is scheduled for Friday.
