According to Google, more than one million users tested Gemini 3 in Google AI Studio and through the Gemini API within the first 24 hours.
“From a day one adoption standpoint, [it’s] the best we’ve seen from any of our model releases,” said Logan Kilpatrick, product lead for Google AI Studio and the Gemini API, in an interview with The Verge.

“Holy shit,” Benioff wrote on X. “I’ve used ChatGPT every day for 3 years. Just spent 2 hours on Gemini 3. I’m not going back. The leap is insane — reasoning, speed, images, video… everything is sharper and faster.”

Benioff’s viral post racked up over a million views in hours, underscoring the excitement across the tech community.

The enthusiasm wasn’t limited to Salesforce. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, in a rare nod to a rival, posted on X: “Looks like a great model.”
