Grammy Awards 2026: Kendrick Lamar, Bad Bunny, Billie Eilish Among Top Winners

The 68th annual Grammy Awards took place Sunday at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and were broadcast live on CBS and streamed on Paramount+. Kendrick Lamar led the night with nine nominations, winning Record of the Year and Best Rap Album for GNX, along with Best Rap Song and Best Melodic Rap Performance. Lamar also became the first artist to have five consecutive studio albums nominated for Album of the Year.

Bad Bunny won Album of the Year for DeBÍ TiRAR MÁS FOToS and took home Best Música Urbana Album. Billie Eilish earned Song of the Year for WILDFLOWER, while Olivia Dean was named Best New Artist. Lady Gaga won Best Pop Vocal Album for MAYHEM and Best Dance Pop Recording for Abracadabra.

In classical music, Gabriela Ortiz won Best Contemporary Classical Composition, while Amanda Forsythe received Best Classical Solo Vocal Album. Yo-Yo Ma took Best Classical Instrumental Solo for Shostakovich: The Cello Concertos. Steven Spielberg achieved EGOT status with a Grammy for Best Music Film for Music By John Williams.

Other notable winners included Turnstile, who took Best Metal Performance and Best Rock Album, Leon Thomas for Best R&B Album and Best Traditional R&B Performance, and FKA twigs for Best Dance/Electronic Album. The Cure won Best Alternative Music Album and Best Alternative Music Performance. Jelly Roll claimed Best Contemporary Country Album, Keznamdi earned Best Reggae Album, and Caetano Veloso & Maria Bethânia won Best Global Music Album.

The ceremony, hosted by Trevor Noah for the sixth consecutive year, handed out 95 awards, though most were announced prior to the main event. The Grammys highlighted achievements across pop, rap, R&B, country, jazz, classical, Latin, and global music, celebrating both established stars and emerging talent.
