In a bold move aimed at redrawing the map of digital health, Hims & Hers Health said Thursday it will acquire Australian telehealth firm Eucalyptus in a deal valued at up to $1.15 billion.
The transaction, a sweeping expansion play, signals that Hims & Hers to Acquire Eucalyptus is more than a headline — it’s a calculated leap into new international terrain as the U.S.-based telehealth platform seeks to scale its personalized care model beyond its home market.
A Strategic Bridge Across Continents
If completed, the acquisition would hand Hims & Hers a ready-made footprint in Australia and Japan. It would also deepen the company’s reach in the United Kingdom, Germany and Canada through partnerships with established regional operators.
Like a chess player advancing multiple pieces at once, Hims & Hers is positioning itself to serve patients across continents, building out a global infrastructure for customized healthcare delivery.
Eucalyptus operates several consumer-facing brands worldwide, including weight-loss platform Juniper and men’s telehealth service Pilot. According to Hims & Hers, the company has served more than 775,000 customers globally — a sizable base that could accelerate cross-border growth.
