Hubble Detects Anti-Correlated Jet Flips On 3I/ATLAS Pointing To A Controlled Rotational System
The decisive evidence will come from velocity and composition measurements. James Webb Space Telescope spectroscopy can determine where these jets are launching from and how fast their material is moving. If both jets accelerate from the same sun-facing region, composition and particle size effects likely dominate. If launch speeds are unusually high or inconsistent with standard sublimation models, new questions will follow.
For now, the responsible conclusion echoes Loeb’s own guidance: wait for the data. Science works best when observations lead and narratives follow—not the other way around. With each new frame, 3I/ATLAS refuses to settle into expectations. And that alone ensures it has not left the news.
We will continue monitoring every frame as new data emerges.
