Robinson found himself in a precarious situation as Meta allegedly denied his accommodation requests and pushed him towards termination. Although granted a temporary reprieve through Meta’s office deferral program, Robinson’s hopes were dashed when Meta revoked its approval, leaving him with limited options.

Despite eventually being allowed to return to work in March 2022, Robinson faced the ultimatum of vaccination by July 5, 2022, or termination. Remaining steadfast in his religious convictions, he refused vaccination, leading to his dismissal from the company.
