Voting in South Carolina’s Republican primary happens in precisely one month from today. In the meantime, GOP rivals Nikki Haley and Donald Trump will battle it out in a winner-takes-all-delegates state.
Already, the fight has intensified, with the former South Carolina governor responding to criticism from Trump in the aftermath of Tuesday night’s New Hampshire primary. The former president accused Haley of pedaling “b*llsh*t” and appeared taken aback by her decision to remain in the GOP race.
In return, Haley’s camp publicized a press release earlier today that accused Trump of having a “meltdown” and highlighting the concerns of voters who don’t want him back in the White House.
This afternoon, Haley subsequently took to social media, announcing an upcoming rally in North Charleston, South Carolina tonight.
What to know about Haley’s rally this evening
The GOP hopeful’s event will take place at Hilton Charleston Airport Hotel’s Embassy Suites. From 7:00 PM EST to roughly 9:00 PM EST, Haley will talk with voters about the stakes of this election, why getting out to vote is so important, and why she believes the United States deserves better than Trump vs. Biden 2.0.
Thank you, New Hampshire! Now it's on to South Carolina. I hope to see you in North Charleston tonight! https://t.co/DY2lh1Ryur pic.twitter.com/K0LOeRZV0C
