What actually happens at a CMC
In California civil cases, a CMC is an early status conference where counsel advise the court on case posture and logistics. Topics for discussion are outlined in the California Rules of Court, including scheduling, discovery plans, motion practice, ADR, insurance, and trial dates. Case Management Statement (form CM -110).
