The Doobie Brothers' tour coincides with the release of their new album, Walk This Road, which is set to drop on June 6, 2025. The album marks a special reunion, featuring original members Patrick Simmons, Tom Johnston, Michael McDonald, and John McFee collaborating on original studio material for the first time since 1980. Reflecting on their longevity and passion for performing, founding member Patrick Simmons, now 76, shared his thoughts on aging rockers still touring. “A lot of people will be like, ‘Oh god, you want to be out, die on the road?’ Well, why not? It’s as good as going anywhere else. The Doobie Brothers, an American rock band formed in San Jose, California, in 1970, became one of the most successful acts of the 1970s. Doobie Brothers tour tickets are on sale now, and given the band’s continued popularity, it’s wise to secure seats in advance.
