X Chief Executive Linda Yaccarino addressed the situation in a note to employees, emphasizing the company’s commitment to combat antisemitism and discrimination.
Despite the temporary pause in investments by some advertisers, Yaccarino asserted that the company’s data would reveal the real story.
In a Reuters interview, Media Matters President Angelo Carusone challenged X’s claims of introducing safety protections, stating that their findings contradicted the platform’s assurances. Carusone accused Musk of being a bully who uses meritless lawsuits to silence accurate reporting. Musk, in response, acknowledged the placement of ads alongside the identified pro-Nazi content.
