Todd and Julie Chrisley have Emotional Reunion
On Wednesday, May 28, Savannah Chrisley posted videos to her Instagram Stories documenting the moment she picked up her father, Todd Chrisley, from FPC Pensacola in Florida. Her brother, Grayson, retrieved their mother, Julie Chrisley, from FMC Lexington in Kentucky. The footage marked the couple’s first public appearance since their incarceration for tax evasion and bank fraud. In the video, Savannah is seen filming Todd sitting in the back seat of a car. While keeping his face off-camera, she jokingly asks, “What are you trying to get me to do?” Todd responds, “Feel that muscle,” prompting Savannah to feel his bicep and exclaim, “Oh yeah, feel the muscle! The Chrisley's’ release came one day after President Donald Trump announced a full pardon for the couple. PEOPLE confirmed the decision, which stunned fans and supporters alike. Speaking on a call with the couple’s children, Trump remarked, “It’s a terrible thing, but it’s a great thing, because your parents are going to be free and clean.” He added, “I don’t know them, but give them my regards and wish them good luck.” Savannah reacted with overwhelming emotion. “I will forever be grateful for President Trump, his administration, and everyone along the way,” she said on Instagram Live, calling the moment “the answer to countless prayers.”Chrisley Kids Reflect on Their Parents' Release
