Would Hunter Biden go to Jail if he wasn’t the President’s son?

On Monday, Hunter Biden, the son of U.S. President Joe Biden has been ordered to appear in an Arkansas courtroom. He is supposed to show up for a contempt hearing in Independence County, Arkansas before Judge Holly Meyer.
He could be jailed for ignoring a court order if he doesn't show up in court. And most likely would be jailed if he was anyone else. But it is doubtful that the President’s son would be treated like anyone else.
The case involves a motion filed by Lunden Roberts, the mother of his four-year-old daughter, Navy Joan Roberts. The same Arkansas 17th Judicial Court ruled Hunter had to provide health care coverage and child support for his daughter.
But in September 2022, Hunter Biden filed a motion in the same court, claiming his financial circumstance had experienced a “substantial material change.”
Robert's attorney Clint Lancaster wrote a 12-page discovery brief that accuses Hunter Biden of failing to comply with court-imposed deadlines and not providing financial disclosure information. And requests the judge hold him in contempt and jail him until he complies.
Lancaster argues that Hunter is not without income, “However, for an artist living on meager means, Mr. Biden is living lavishly.”
“He travels the world on the safest and most comfortable airplane in existence — Air Force One,” the attorney added.
Lunden Roberts also filed to change her daughter’s surname to Biden, which Hunter is challenging.
In the meantime, the first son has married and has a two-year-old by his new wife. He has never asked to see his daughter by Lunden. And the President has no wish to meet her either.
Hunter Biden may be hiding
It is rumored that the President’s son has temporarily moved into the White House to avoid being served with subpoenas.
He still has outstanding legal issues regarding his international business dealings. His former partner is currently in prison. But the Biden name could keep him from facing any consequences.
The court imposed a gag order on discussion of the specifics of the case last month.
Roberts' attorney accuses Hunter Biden of mischaracterizing his financial situation to reduce his child support payments.
The brief alleges that Hunter Biden has some of the most expensive attorneys on the planet, including DC attorney Abbe Lowell, who charges $855 per hour for legal work.
The brief also questions who is paying Hunter Biden's bills and how he paid for Kevin Morris, a Hollywood attorney who paid his $2 million in delinquent taxes.
The motion requests that an Arkansas judge order Hunter Biden to provide all records of payments to his attorneys. And argues those payments count as income for child support purposes.
